In first step you need a plugin XML Sitemap & Google News. That plugin will help you to create google news sitemap for free. Open your wordpress dashboard and installed or active that plugin. For more info must read that plugin description.

After installed that XML Sitemap & Google News plugin you should must disabled your old sitemap which you generate by seo plugin. Here i am using rank math seo plugin. If you are using other seo plugin like yoast seo plugin then you should also disabled that auto generated xml sitemap.
Step 3
After disabled auto generated xml sitemap now you can see plugin section in the left side of your dashboard. Here click on Installed Plugins section for next steps.
Step 4
After click on Installed Plugins selection now you can see all of your plugins which are installed on you site. Now you can see that XML Sitemap & Google News plugin at the end of your all plugin. So for next step just click on Setting button. You can see that setting button below the XML Sitemap & Google News tittle.

After click on setting button. Now you can see that page. Here you can see enable XML sitemaps option. Here that plugin automatically generate your XML Sitemap Index but, not for google news sitemap.
